The 2016 Clio R3T Alps Trophy season: a new schedule and bigger and better prizes

Open to drivers of all nationalities and held over five rounds, the 2016 Clio R3T Alps Trophy has a lot to offer drivers wishing to take part in it, not least a hugely enticing prize for the overall winner.

Featuring two rounds in France and two in Switzerland prior to the finale on the roads of the legendary Rallye International du Valais, the 2016 Clio R3T Alps Trophy is a competition with no little appeal for drivers. Officially recognised as an international series by the FIA, the Clio R3T Alps Trophy has the unwavering and wholehearted support of Renault Sport Technologies, Renault Suisse SA and Michelin Motorsport, to name but a few of its backers. There are some major prizes up for grabs in this year’s Trophy, namely CHF17,000 in cash, new tyres and competition fuel in each round. The overall winner of the series will also earn a drive in a Renault Sport Technologies Renault Clio R3T at the 2017 Rallye Monte-Carlo 2017, an opportunity not to be missed.
