Renault Sport Academy Drivers Christian Lundgaard and Marta García are back in Spanish F4 action this weekend following a two-week break, as the championship heads to Navarra for round five.

Christian is aiming for a return to the top step of the podium which he last visited in Navarra in round two. The Dane leads the series by 23 points from Alexander Smolyar who has won the last four races in the Spanish championship.

Last time out in Jerez, Christian finished third twice and also took a fourth-place finish.

Marta is also going in search of podium finishes this weekend as she aims to finish the final three rounds of the championship in positive style.

The Spanish teen has consistently run in the top ten throughout the eleven races run so far this season, as she targets a strong points haul to move up the midfield table.

Christian Lundgaard (MP Motorsport, #5)
1st – 182 points – 11/21 races completed

“I’m excited to race again in Navarra. We are going after those wins, not seconds and thirds. I want to go for a hat-trick again. We need to extend the lead in the championship, but to do that, I need to pick up my pace and forget those mistakes I’ve made. I hope to be on top all weekend.”

Marta García (MP Motorsport, #19)
9th – 41 points – 11/21 races completed

“I’m looking forward to racing again this weekend at Navarra. We’ve already been here this year in round two and it’s a nice, flowing track which I quite like. The target is to qualify well, make some good starts and finish the races inside the top three.”
