The French GP returned to the F1 calendar after an absence of many years, and with it, its huge number of eager Renault fans to cheer on the team and drivers. Throughout the weekend the main-straight grandstand was packed with yellow flags and shirts.
This photographic technique is called a ’pull-zoom’ and by using a very slow shutter speed and zooming the telephoto lens whilst pressing the shutter, you get this dynamic effect whilst retaining the sharpness on the single fan and his flag.
