Picture Perfect : Malaysian Grand Prix

The Malaysian GP always throws up some mixed weather conditions and this year was no different. The hot and humid air creates big dark storm clouds during qualifying as the low early evening sun turns the track golden. It is taken with a wide angle lens from the final corner of the Sepang circuit. To get the perfect positioning for this shot I was actually stood on top of a recovery truck, kindly lent by the marshals. Malaysia has always been popular with the photographers, we will miss the local culture the interesting circuit and the unpredictable weather!
